#4 Week 2: Finalizing Production roles

Today I was unfortunately absent from class due to a doctor's appointment, but my partners continued to discuss production roles to keep our project on track. Even though I was not able to be in class while finalizing each role I made sure to keep in touch and text them what roles I would like to uphold. Since I was the cinematographer and film editor for our midterm, I felt it was best that I kept those roles. I also am a perfectionist and am very organized so I knew I would be best suited for these roles. While Madelyn would be a great director, she is also so busy with dance during the weekdays and weekends, so she would be absent from school and possibly important film days. So instead, I suggested that Indy should take on the director role as she would be a great leader for our film and is available more often. This leads to making Madelyn the script advisor and stagehand. For the executive producer role, I was told that Indy, Madelyn, and I are all working together to manage and solve any problems that arise in the filming process. I definitely agree with this decision as we can all share our opinions for the best results. While I will be the main editor, I still am going to need help from both Indy and Madelyn. For the most part I will edit what video clips I get but will have Indy and Madelyn edit the opening credits and at the end I will combine the two edits together.
